S. Rheagan Alexander

Before entering the legal profession, Rheagan studied forestry and geography at Northern Arizona University and worked as a forester and wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service. Her work included resource surveys and fire prevention projects in the Bitterroot Valley and across the Mountain West. That experience inspired her pursuit of a legal career focused on land use and complex regulatory issues. While attending Pace University School of Law, Rheagan earned her J.D. with high honors and an Advanced Certificate in Environmental Law. She served as Articles Editor for Pace Law Review and drafted model legislation for land use and tribal consultation that has been adopted in three states.
